just curious to see if anyone else has a macbookpro 17 core duo or the core duo 2 and is plugging into the fw 800 port to the Caldigit FWVR Raid drive? When I connect thru the FW 400 the Caldigit mounts no problem.

I use my FirewireVR on my Powerbook via FW800...but that is a Powerbook...different that you.

Yeah, as we all recently discovered, CalDigit tech support is Platinum class...so you'll get a good answer from them.

Michael,

Even though some of us were there, some of us were at the office & some of us were staying up late fielding questions from the ether.

CalDigit, we get it.
