'out of memory'

I just re-installed FC Studio 2 (because I had to swap from my office version to my private registration) but now I got the error 'out of memory'. Strange because my menu meters shows it only uses a quarter of my memory while starting up FCP. I also did 'software update' after installing.
Does anyone has an idea that it has to do with the fact that I first uninstalled FC Studio 2 and Quicktime (with the un-installing software 'Appliciation Annihilator')?
Anyone???

This could also mean your hard drive is too full. Make sure you don't go over 85% to 90% (max) capacity.
