So here's an interesting finding. I'm cutting a short film where they used a film adapter on the HVX and the result is that all the source footage is upside down. I lay all the clips in a sequence and applied the flop filter to every clip and then drag the clips back into the browser. Doesn't seem to be an issue.
Although as I found out, viewing as Icons - the clips are back to upside down. When trimming and slip/slide with dragging in timeline, the preview windows of the clips are upside down as well. So it's been real hard to slip a clip when the previews are upside down.
I'm not saying this is a bug since it's an unusual workflow. But it's a reminder that the results of filters don't appear in bin icons, the trim tools, and thumbnail columns. Though it would be nice if these effects do appear - imagine if this is a feature and the you can't easily slip any shot in the entire film.
I know I could export each clip after they've been flopped but that method presents challenges too. I think in a worse way.
FYI.
