HELP with importing P2 cards

Hey guys,
I've been trying to import my P2 files into FCP through LOG and Transfers. BUt when i click on the folder , nothing happens. For some reason , it worked once. But when i tried to Log more files. Nothing happens . Any Ideas?

FCP 6.02
Mac Pro 8 gig RAM

tell us more.

are you log/transferring from the card IN camera or did you first transfer the contents of the card to your hard drive?

is the camera still in firewire device mode? i think it toggles off once you disconnect.

Do you have FX Factory installed? There was a bug where that interfered with the P2 import process. Either uninstall them (if you have the demo), or run the free upgrade (for v2, for v1 it will be a small upgrade fee to get to v2) and things should work.

If you have FX Factory installed.

All the data is on my harddrive.

I do have FX factory installed and now i 'm going to try the upgrade

I am having the same problem with P2 card, I have copied the cards to my desktop but when I go to "Log And Transfer" and select the folder nothing happens I know the I have FxFactory freebie plug-in installed but I can't find it in my Plug-in folder to uninstall it, can some one help me please -Shane????????

Just do a spotlight search for the plug-in Harry. And then go get the latest version of it and install.

Yeah, it isn't in the normal PLUGIN location. It is in the hard drive>Library>Plugins>FXPlug folder. Or spotlight it.

Thanks Mike, I did spotlight search but with no avail, all I got was an app in my application folder called FxFactory that shows I have the plugin installed. This is first time happening to me I never had this problem before, and I have been shooting P2 for a year now.
