Is there a way to copy a keyframe in FCS?
I made keyframe 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and after that I want to copy kf 2 and put it after kf 5.
Hope I was clear enough smiling smiley

Paste attributes 'basic motion' - it'll take the keyframes across. If the keyframes are in a filter, also paste the filter attributes . . .

Ok, I wasn't clear enough. smiling smiley
I want to copy keyframe into the same clip.

Like in AFX - you have keyframe and if you want to copy it, you are able to do so.

. . . then just add an additional keyframe? little extra time, no need to cut and paste . . .

I think that is one downfall in FCP - my workaround: go to the keyframe you want to copy, write down those attributes on a "post it", go to where you want the new key frame and copy those attributes by hand. I find that TAB lets you navigate from attribute to attribute.
I know, it'd be nice to just laso the key frame or a group of keyframes and paste them....sounds like a feature request....anyone?

Absolutely a feature request, going back many moons. (Check the Feature request collection at the top of the forum.)

No reason not to be able to copy (or Option-drag!) a keyframe to a new location to create a quick Hold, for instance.

Goes with the neat idea of treating those blue "marker" keyframes in Viewer time graphs as master keyframes within a parameter (such as All Crop, All Distort, etc) and be able to Move or Option-Drag Copy those too.

There is some added function in the imeline Keyframe area, but not yet enough for these simple tasks.

Add your voice, Apple listens.
