Can't hear audio in Log and Transfer for P2

I'm logging and transferring P2 footage from an external hard drive. The only hitch is that I can't hear the audio from the clips in the Preview window. The meter shows the audio is there but I can't hear it. (All the correct files and folders are mounted.)

When I transfer the clip to FCP, the audio is there so no problem at the final end. It's only when I'm previewing that I can't hear it. Tinkering with the Import settings in Log and Transfer doesn't do anything. Any ideas?

I rebooted FCP and now I've got the audio.

I was going to say that you might want to check your audio out sources in the System preferences. It sounds like this got a bit lost. If it happens again, look there.

I have this same problem with video AND audio when I am digitizing HDV tapes off of my Sony HDV deck through firewire. I do NOT have the problem when I am digitizing through my Black Magic Decklink SDI or RGB input. I've given up trying to figure it out since the clips are fine when played back.
