I dont have monitors to see my color correction, but I do understand the the Vector-scope and waveforms, here are the question.

1) If I go and watch the dvd in a few different tv's will that give me and aproximation of what the final product will look like?

2) I am turning the footage into Black & White, is mostly DV raging from 3chip to cheap one chip cameras, what are some of the concerns turning footage balck and white?

3) Also what is the consequences of over crunching the blacks?

I cannot thank enough, the help this forum provides.

Thanks to everybody that takes the time to help

respectfully

You could use any CRT television for an average look at the content.

Just go into the 3 way color corrector and remove chrominance from the picture. The luminance is what controls the contrast of the picture.

quite dont get it,Were exactly I will remove the Chrominance.

I am de-saturating in 3 way color corrector and fixing the whites and blacks using the waveform, I am definitely crushing the blacks a bit past the BLK LINE

You're doing okay. Chroma is color. Desaturation is where you remove colors.

If that's the look you are going for. You lose detail in the shadows when you crush the blacks.
