Hi -
Seems like I would find this on the Forum somewhere already posted, but nothing came up with my search.
I would like to go to freeze on a specific frame for three seconds then resume playing in normal speed. So normal speed - freeze frame for three secs - then normal speed again.
I supposed the time remap in the motion tab would be a option but I don't want to change the speed on either side of the freeze frame.
So I parked my playhead on the frame I wanted a still of and did a Shift N to make a freeze frame and then inserted that FF into the timeline for three seconds. But the freeze frame is jumpy. Do I need to export the FF to Photoshop and do something there and re-export it back into FC to get rid of the interlacing?
In other words, besides the time remap option, what is the best way to get this effect?
Thanking you in advance,
Shelley
