prepping sequence for online

We just re-captured a sequence but it seemed it re-captured more than it should.
The main problem is when there is just audio FCP captures the video too.
What do you do for prepping the sequence so that when there is just audio it only captures aduio?

We are capturing a 1080i25 10b any extra video is taking up a lot of extra space.

After your Log and Capture window opens, click the second tab on the right labeled "Clip Settings". There should be two sections: Video - Audio. Un-check the video box. This should enable capture of audio only.

When you make an offline project or decompose FCP should know in the timeline if there if just audio not to capture video.

You should not have to do this manually
