I just finished editing my recent feature documentary, Elvis In East Peoria, on FCP. I posted several clips on YouTube. Love to see what you guys think.

But my question is, what is the best format conversion to get the clips off my timeline and onto YouTube.

So far, I just exported a Quicktime Movie and used that.

Also, MySpace only takes files up to 250k. How would you accomplish that?

Cheers!!!

For YouTube output 640x480 Quicktime and if uploading on a MAC, it has to be under 100MB.

To make a video file really small (but 250K is out of sight) use Flash Video -- FLV.

That's what YouTube does to video files - FLV

So, is Elvis really alive and living in East Peoria????

...which is why they all look like garbage IMHO....reminds me of Cinepak (blech). H.264 should be the standard for web video IMHO.

When life gives you dilemmas...make dilemmanade.
