Hi everyone,

I want to get my first fcs2. In Ireland, where I live, it 's 1250 euro, in the us about $1250 !
They re advertised on ebay , sealed in the box, for less then $1000,- Is there a problem getting fcs2 from ebay? Is it compatible in Europe? Upgradeable?Any catches?

You may have to pay import VAT but otherwise it should make no difference...

...as long as it is not registered to someone else already and is a legit copy!

Purchase from the lafcpug store if you do buy in USA. That way we get a few dollars. There is also Amazon UK which you should check. Might be cheaper there.

be careful with those ebay deals. its often not mentioned or in fine print but many of them are educational or promotional versions which though legal cant be upgraded.

That's probably not possible if you live outside the US as this works with Amazon - shame on on Amazon (or maybe Apple).

It's related to the article(s) you want to buy - some like FCS are for US delivery only.

Thanks everyone for the swift response.
I might get a friend in the usa to sent it to me, that would do the job wouldn't it? Or does the reg number block further upgrades once it s clear I am in Europe ??

You don't have to worry about the serial number as long it is a "retail" one.
