Gee why don't they just make a 20 inch screen MacBook Pro to lug around -- Can you get that onto the plane's tray table for your in flight edit? (be sure to close the window - don't want reflective clouds to cloud your screen!

I don't think we'll ever see a smaller than 24 inch Cinema Display from Apple any more. A $30 cable adaptor will allow you to connect to the 2nd monitor of your choice. Of course if you don't pick up the new 24 inch Cinema Display you won't be able to use the 2nd monitor as a mirror to comb your hair or brush your teeth, you'll have to rely on the MBP 15.4 monitor to do that.
