So I'm doing a lot of transcodes and encodes in QuickTime Player- is there a script/automator action or command line interface that would allow me to send a batch list to QuickTime for encoding. The particular formats I use are not happy with Compressor so that's out. Any suggestions?

If Bob doesn't have a solution I could write a little app which could do it.
Let me know Andreas Some workflow tools for FCP [www.spherico.com] TitleExchange -- juggle titles within FCS, FCPX and many other apps. [www.spherico.com]

Basically something that gave 100% of the functionality of QuickTime's Export functions but as a droplet or simple list that allowed you to export clips from an entire folder or drag a bunch of clips with naming conventions and all that to the same export settings or different export settings would totally rock. -Noah
