capture settings

editing on a Mac G5 - Sony M15AU deck - Final Cut Pro 6 Studio 2 - Shot on Sony HVRZ7U - 1080i 30P

on my version of FCP6 there are no capture settings for 108i30p - we have VTR control but no image or audio. Is there something we're missing? Do we need an upgrade?
Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Have you tried the HDV 1080/60i setup? That should do the trick. 30p is typically stored in a 60i stream in HDV so it shouldn't be an issue.
