Hi
I have some footage that was shot 16:9, 24p, DVCPRO50, NTSC. Can anyone tell me the exact settings for import and sequence. I am having capture problems, banding problems and the sequence needs rendering. Should the frame rate be 24 or 23.98?
thanks!

24p? or 24pA (advanced)? There is a big difference between the two. 24p runs at 29.97 with the 24p "look" or cadence...just a film look. Where 24pA is recorded in a way on the tape that when you capture you remove the advanced pulldown to get to 23.98fps. 24fps is FILM ONLY, never edit your video 24fps solid.
