Is it possible to remove logo/bug from footage?Posted by Lisha
Hello to all,
Is it possible to remove a logo/bug from the bottom right of the footage. It is letterboxed so if I crop and blow up the footage it will be too blurry. We have permission to use it, but the record label does not have access to the footage without the bug. I doubled the layer, cropped the 2nd layer and applied a gaussianblur to blur out the logo. The producer is not crazy about it. Any suggestions? Peace, Lisha

Or, maybe you modify the logo enough to make it unrecognizable. For example, use the same colour as part of the logo and just turn the whole logo into that colour, or put gibberish inside. Might be less noticeable than a blur. www.derekmok.com
This tute may (or may not) help, depends on the footage:
[video.aol.com] or try some VirtualDub (PC based) tools: [voidon.republika.pl] [compression.ru]
