After the install it scared me for a moment as my Mac restarted about 5 times before the desktop appeared.

Takes me to the 10.5.6 KB page. Might this be part of the problem? It's not an upgrade at all (bwa ha ha ha and so forth). Or something. Scott

After the reboot I had both screens flashing noise, going nowhere. Despite having a project to finish before the weekend, I was laughing for two reasons:
1) I've had such good luck with Macs. I knew a hard reboot would solve it (it did.) 2) I've got a Mac Pro arriving tomorrow. - - - FYI, if you're using the Safari beta, you'll need to upgrade that to if you go to 10.5.7. - Justin Barham -
