OT: Converting QTSC to 16/9 3GP

QT does 3gp and so does compressor. However, neither seems to preserve the 16/9 aspect ratio. It squeezes the video to the point of distortion and the custom choice for frame size is grey in both applications.

Is there a plug or separate program i need for this?

I don't really work with 3G compression, but having a quick look in Compressor I found that if you click on the options button for the 3G encoder type, you can choose on of the two EZMovie file formats which allow for custom frame sizes.
