time code burn

hi

I'm on FCP 6.0.5 and wish to create a time code burn from the timeline (where I have captured entire mini-dv tape) and then create a DVD or Quicktime (whatever is easier with visible burn) for logging purposes..any advice on work flow?

On the subject of timecodes, is there a way to get the timecode to show on the screen bigger kind of like the way Pro Tools shows time/beats?? or is that some sort of plug in or part of some other software that works with FCP?

thanks derek..I'm don't edit enough...and sometimes get locked in problems that seem so basic and yet my book or help don't find the solution...so LAFCPUG is great!!!

Ok since you are here (and I'll also post this) onmy 6.0.5 I am trying to mark in and out points on the viewer and (with the current in and outs frozen) , I am getting a message that says "media limit on V1" any ideas?
