Exploding or Shattered Type

Hi Everyone,

I'm working on project where the client is requesting a type treatment I don't yet know how to accomplish (of course I didn't tell him that - fake it till you make it)

I need to make type come on the screen - stay in tact for a few - then explode in to pieces. Kind of like shattered glass.

Can you offer any suggestions on how I could make type appear to explode and break apart into pieces flying off the screen. I don't see anything in Motion or Livetype that would do this. I also have FX Factory but don't see anything in there either that would achieve this effect.

I would be great if I could get this effect with the tools I have already but would be willing to purchase a plug in that does this easily if one exists.
