4 audio tracks

i'm having trouble doing this.

I need to export a apple prores movie with four audio tracks.

I have the audio outputs on sequence setting set to 4 dual mono tracks. I have my audio spread out among those four tracks.

When I export it gives me the four tracks but only with audio on 1 and 2, 3 and 4 is silent.

I get the downmix warning due to my hardware but it should still output the audio regardless correct?

and when I bring it back into final cut I should be able to isolate tracks 3 and 4 and I should be able to hear the audio, correct?

should I be using Discrete Channels when I export? i have it set to default Channel Grouped currently.

Any help will be appreciated.

Make sure you right click on the small area to the right of the lock on tracks three and four and assign audio outputs - 3 to 3 and 4 to 4. Right now they are probably set to 1 and 2 by default.
