MXF files question

I have no experience with these type files and received a question regarding them. If someone has an answer, I can pass it on.
" I have some mxp files that I'm trying to edit in final cut 6.0.6 I get them in but only about 30 secs of the clips show up. I think I updated all the plugins but it seems to be the same affect. Any quick solutions?"

What kind of MXF.
What plugin?
How you try to get the clips into FCP?
If you use the MXF4mac demo the clips will be cut off after the demo period.
