720p 50 machine control

I was trying to lay a 720p 50 sequence to tape (using a Sony HDSR 5500) and I set a in time of 59:30:00 on the sequence and the "edit to tape" tool and the machine would just start to fast forward. I notice that there are no Kona settings for 720p 50 for machine control for the Sony only for the panasonic.
Any suggestions? we tried to using the Sony 25 settings but that doesn't work.
