I read Ken Stones article about exporting Blu-Ray directly from FCP. So exciting...

Anyway, has anyone done this yet and if so do you have a recommendation for a Blu-Ray burner. I think I'd prefer an external so I can use it on different systems.

Chuck

I have a Buffalo external media station, which max burn is 8x.
It will also burn DVD's & CD's.

I like it!

I have the one described in Ken's article. It's a Pioneer inside an OWC enclosure. It's rather loud because of the fan, but I've already burned a number of Blu-ray discs and they look great. When I'm not burning, it stays off because of the noise and power consumption.

Hello Kevin,
I am having hard time to burn a decent Blu-Ray from FC3; It has ugly vertical lines. From far is ok. I am Exporting from FC3 an HDV clip 1080p 30 goes through compressor, and when watching on a OppO Blu-Ray player, is not right. not clean.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Adam

I have a Digistor External Blu-ray burner, connects via USB2.0 to my MacBook Pro. It has a Panasonic Blu-ray drive inside.
