Need Advice about HDCAM

Hi i am working with hdcam on a system and im not sure if its up to the task here are my specs
Kona Lhe
Fibre Channel HUGH 4tb external drive
FCP 6
OS X 10.4
2 x 3 dual core processor
8gb ram

Yup. You can capture ProRes 422 or Uncompressed 10 bit with that setup.

(Avoid ProRes HQ...that is for 2K and higher only.)
