I erased LASTCLIP.txtPosted by simond
You're not hosed without lastclip.txt. It only affects clips spanned between two cards. As long as you have all the other folders and files intact you should be able to log and transfer the footage.

Simply create a plain text file with TextEdit.
Then enter: first line: name of last clip without extension (be aware about the sort order in Finder to find the last clip) second line: 1.0 third line: count of clips fourth line: empty Save as LASTCLIP.TXT at the same level with CONTENTS folder Andreas Some workflow tools for FCP [www.spherico.com] TitleExchange -- juggle titles within FCS, FCPX and many other apps. Andreas-
You just saved my client's bacon!! He came to me this morning with quite a tale of woe, and the worry that he might lose his job over a mistake he thought he'd made. I followed your instructions here and recreated his LASTCLIP.TXT files and now I get a free lunch!! If I ever get the chance to meet you, I'll pay it forward!! ![]() deb
