OT: attachments kills browsers

I have a question and I hope somebody can help me.
I have a Imac G5 and recently when I try to attach something to an email this kills the program I try with both browsers (safary and firefox).

Try Apple Supports discussions forum. Go to the Safari forum and ask you question there.
