Multicam Scale & Rotation don'[t hold

I'm on the latest version of FCP 6.x (about to move to FCP 7) and I've just come across something that I've never had to do before. I have 2 camera angles that I'm multicam'ing, and the shots need to be tidied up a bit, i.e. minimal scaling (zoom to 104%) and rotation (to about 1.25) on both angles. In the viewer, which displays both angles, I can click on one angle, set it's parameters in the Motion tab, the hit the Video tab to select the other angle to set it's parameters. But the moment I click on the 2nd angle, the settings for the 1st angle go back to defaults (100 for Scale, 0 for rotation). Is this supposed to be happening or are the modified values supposed to hold when I go to set parameters for the 2nd angle? And if it IS normal that the parameters reset, what's the workflow for modifying these parameters for each angle in a multicam situation?

Thanks so much.

You might want to consider changing the parameters of the original clips before creating the multiclip.
