no sign of eos plugin in log and transfer preferences window

Having downloaded the new EOS plugin for FCP i'm unable to see it in the Log and Transfer preference window, just a P2 option and an AVCHD option. I've downloaded the plug in at least 10 times in the last hour but it's still not visible. Any thoughts?

Have you plugged in a CF card reader with some eos footage on it?

Yes i have Derek. Many times in fact.

I've now discovered that the problem is i'm still on Tiger, and need to upgrade to Snow Leopard.
