OT? composite logo

Hi,
I need to use a companys logo in a promo.
With out having to recreate it myself, how do I capture it and use it.
If I scan it can I apply some composite filter.
thanks in advance.

It's their logo. Ask them for it. I'm sure the company would want its own logo to look good rather than using some workaround.

ALWAYS ask them specifically for an EPS or AI (Illustrator) VECTOR version. If they have print materials, they have an EPS logo. This is a Vector Image File that can be manipulated in many ways...including resized in Photoshop as a "Smart Object" and it keeps it's resolution no matter how large you make it. It can also be used as outlines / splines in a 3D program to make the logo into 3D Art.

When life gives you dilemmas...make dilemmanade.
