Flash bulb effect filter, generator or transition.

I'm Looking for an effect that creates circular flashes like paparazzi to transition text or photos like in this clip; www.q2-sports.com/view-reel.html

Not to be confused with the traditional "flash-frame" or "white-flash" transition.

I've found a couple in my CM and BCC filters but they only come close.

For FCP, Motion or AE.

That just looks like a custom lens flare effect to me. You could use the lens flare generator in AE to make one that pops up like that one, with custom colors even, then export with an alpha channel and place it where you want it.

Thanks John I will give that a try. I also found a Sugar_FX plug in that's called
paparazzi that comes in their "Light-Pack" set of filters. It's only $79.00 so I might try that.
