As usual I'm jumping in two feet first and testing this puppy.

Read the support article detailing the updates here: [support.apple.com]

If you are in doubt or are in the middle of a project and your system works; DO NOT install this update until there is enough feedback to confirm it doesn't break any FCS functionality.

I installed it too, no issues for me.

My software:
Pro Maintenance Tools - Tools to keep Final Cut Studio, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro running smoothly and fix problems when they arise
Pro Media Tools - Edit QuickTime chapters and metadata, detect gamma shifts, edit markers, watch renders and more

Hopefully it resolves the random untraceable crashes when working with FCP in combination with Quartz Composer...

It fixed my issues with my Canon 60D Raw support in Aperture. You know we need to use stills as well? No issues with FCP so far.

No issues so far with 10.6.5

- although I re-tested the ProKit 6.0.1 update and I'm still having no luck importing PSDs into DVDSP (even the old projects with PSD don't work) so have backtracked to the old ProKit framework until I have a solution. sad smiley
