Deleting Unused files within FCP 6

I was wondering if there is a way to delete files from a project that were not used in a sequence...trim the fat! I am trying to keep my media file size low, so when I perform a media manage of a nested sequence it will compress down to 1-2GB. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

That's what media manager does. Make sure you check "delete unused media"
