It seems there is a lot of confusion about how to copy cards -- even though it should be clear how to do.
I extracted a simple card copy tool from one of my custom apps. It's a kind of 'copy cards for dummies'
You can load any folder or file of a card and the app will always go to the mount point of the card. You also can create ISO images for cards which always can be copied to any card and the cam or any other app can read it -- which seems to quite unknown for some reason. It only works with FAT-32 formatted cards - to make things easier for the user.

The 'Offloader' app I know is not free. It does quite a lot more things than my app though it doesn't write ISO images.
Can you provide a link?

i think offloader used to be free,
but now costs $150 (for Mac, Windows is still free)

Bouke's Offloader had been donationware. That has changed for the Mac.

Yeah sorry just checked it's now $149 I was lucky enough to get it for free

Since some requirements for my custom app did change I updated the copyCards app as well.
Look at the Help PDF (Help menu) which comes with the app for changes.

The reason Offloader got expensive is the transcode to optical XDcam option.
(per BBC request, and i would like my hours paid...)
But it fails in other framerates than 25, and does not run on all machines. (more testing to do...)

So if i fail to get it fixed, the price will go down again...
