Does anyone know a good font site, free or paid? I know the ususal suspects and they all have the same stuff. If there are any new sites or any other alternatives please post. I am in desperate need of some new fonts.

"DaFont" and "1001" are my usual suspects, specially "DaFont". They are so usual I thought it would be a known fact. But "free Mac fonts" is cool.

Their catalog includes fonts they are not licensed to sell but they
have provided links to the sources. They play nice.

Nice font use examples, nice newsletter.
Great typography source.

i recently found a shed-load of free fonts just by spending time on google. it's like searching for vinyl - you just gotta keep digging . . .

Better watch the fine print. Some of these fonts are only "free" if you don't use them commercially.
