Looks Composition and Uniforming multi cam shots

Ok, I have gotten relatively comfy with looks. I use them in variable strengths in almost everything now.

So i am wondering if there is a vaguely suggested protocol to keep in mind when using looks.

i.e. Music Video

a = at the beach b = alley at night c = parking lot

So here are my cams / angles

Angle 1&2a
Angle 1&2b
Angle 1&2c

Over the length of a TL i will use these angle a number of times. So.......

If i apply say a washed glow to angel2a but not to angle1a
then apply a hdr s-curve and over sat to angle1c...

Because i choose those shots to grade, Is it suggested that i would have to keep those angles with their grades consistently throughout?

Where is Jeff Harell and derekmok when ya need them? This so philosophy.

Seriously though, this has to have been discussed before somewhere.

I personally feel that it doesn't have to but i am wondering the industry habits.

It's not a mathematical equation. It's an art form. You can apply science if you like, but art is not about numbers. So there is no 'industry standard'.
