Main Drive Storage - Allocation Diagnostics

I have a 750gig main drive and right now it says that 586gigs full. I normally do not use this drive to store pictures, video, or documents. Its all os and applications, oh and also a itunes folder thats 48gigs.

I have searched this drive to find what is taking up space as i do not beleive that the apps are equating to 586gigs, but thats also why I am posting this.

My app folder on get info says 22gigs. there is email but i doubt that it would make up the difference.

Is there a program that would tell me what the space is allocated to?
Where would you suspiciously look as a culprit to the space being used?

Hey Thanks a lot.

Once i read about that program it gave me better verbiage to search. I did Grand Perspective but i also found this: http://www.derlien.com/

does the same thing in the same way but it gives a drawer that tells you exactly what you are clicking/hovering over. things like exact file name and the path.

I am using them both till i figure out which is best.
