This is a big day for big announcements. From NASA is the announcement of where the retiring Space Shuttles are going, and here in the Northwest we've been holding our breath that one would be coming to Boeing's Museum of Flight. But alas, the company that has been instrumental in the development of space flight hardware throughout its history was left out. Interesting that today is the 50th anniversary of the first manned space flight, and 30th anniversary of the first Shuttle launch. Amazing to think that it took just 20 years to get from first man in space to such a sophisticated space program, with the entire moon mission in between.
I wonder if today is some special anniversary for Apple?
