screen has gone negative

My Mac Pro screen is now a negative image and I'm not sure how to get it back to normal.

I know my son uploaded "Steam" and "Portal" onto this computer (big mistake). I removed them, emptied the trash and restarted the machine a few times.

The screen is still negative, like an x-ray!!

Can somebody out there point the way to getting my screen back to normal. Nothing I've tried in prefs or utilities seems to get it back.

Help!

I've seen that with older VGA monitors. It was a bad connection. Or the connectors themselves were bad.

maybe your son also hit Control Option Apple 8?
the same combo will put it right again.

Yeah or go to System Preferences > Universal Access > Seeing > and check that it is set to Black on White.

You may have hit these buttons or someone is playing a prank on you. Hit control/option/command and the number 8 at the same time!
