Software Update says 10.6.8 will "Enhance the Mac App Store to get your Mac ready to upgrade to Mac OS X Lion".

Has anyone installed this yet? Does it fubar any applications, like FCP 7, Motion, AE, Photoshop? I am going to have to get Lion when it comes out for the server capabilities, etc. - just checking, thanks.

Yes I'm running it with no issues - although there are allegedly issues with Adobe and Nvidia Quadro 4000 CUDA drivers. Check carefully before you update if you have that card.

If you do have the Nvidia Quadro 4000 and want to upgrade to 10.6.8 then Nvidia have released an update to the CUDA and GPU driver that fixes the problems: [www.nvidia.com]

I personally haven't experienced anything but some people have had audio problems:
