Talk about useless. I generally make my own set of beeps because they are so useless. I feel like I figured that out once, but the volume of the beeps couldn't be modified. They where so effing loud compared to the tracks that the actor and I did without.
I guess I could have lowered the volume of the system, and then raised the mix master volume.
I think the solution is to put your out, way past your end of recording, or make your own beeps.
In truth most of the people I have ADRd 50/50 pro/amateur, when doing this in cutting room scenario, have preferred working without the beeps entirely.
