Importing PAL Pro Res. Audio coming in one frame early.

I'm starting a Pro Res PAL project using proxy files. The original proxy quicktimes on the desktop level are dead sync but the imported files have audio that's 1 frame early. Is there a setting I'm missing? I'm only playing using a single monitor, not client monitor-- an Apple 30" Cinema Display and it happens both in the viewer window and when I play back using digital desktop preview. The offset in the system settings playback window is set at 0. Changing it doesn't seem to affect desktop monitor playback-- I've always used it for the client monitor.
