How to remove Apple raid card and utility from G5 dual cuad?

How do you get this monster out of the mac pro?

Take it to an Apple Service Provider. The Apple Raid Card must be installed, and removed by Apple approved techs. Or you violate your warranty. If it is out of warranty...well...

Find someone who does it.

I was having a hell of a time getting the software side of it. I did finally take it to the Apple service center nearby. They had challenges at first but eventually deterimined that the power connecter was not seated completely in the logic board once the card had been removed. That's why "we both" couldn't boot ...until that power connection was solid. After that, no worries, no problems. The system booted up and never again recognized the raid card nor all the drives as "raid media".
