HD to SD

I need to convert an HD 1080i 29.97 seq to SD (NTSD I assume) for broadcast. I know it sounds strange; but that is the job I've been given.

What should the SD seq settings be? And do I just drop an HD seq or mov into it and not accept the conform seq settings?
