OT: worth waiting for iPad3?

I was thinking of getting an ipad2 for christmas this year, but rumor has it by spring next year ipad3 will be released.
What have you guys heard?

Best to not follow rumors. If you NEED an iPad, get it. Then when new one comes out, sell the old one. Cost will be negligible and you will have had your iPad for months. Same applies for buying a computer. If you need it, get it.
