So very very sad. One of my childhood idols dies this Leap Day: Davy Jones of The Monkees died of a heart attack today. He was 66 years old. I loved them so much - still do.

Definitely a passage, especially for those of us who watched the silly show first run. Mike Nesmith had the best take of all, I thought. He remains a visionary. Hope to see more film work from him.
