reducing grain from gain

I shot some HDV footage and the auto gain button got switched on during daylight shooting. In some places its just a bit of grain that I would like to be able to be able to reduce. Is there a way within FCP 7 to reduce that grain or is there a third party sofware that will help? Thanks!

there's a few 3rd party solutions.

Neat Video is one of the more affordable ones.
i've used that for tidying up old movies, and for some really dark footage.
it was less successful on my dark footage, but it was intercut w good video so stood out a bit, plus it was REALLY dark!

Thank you Nick! I bought the Neat Video pro version and it works brilliantly! Thanks for helping save the day!
