TSA scanners

Hi:

I am traveling to Hong Kong and taking a project with me on a Western Digital firewire drive. i plan to take the drive with me onto the airplane. The files are all Apple ProRes 422. Do i need to worry about the TSA scanning?

. . no but you need to worry about your western digital drive - when i was editing overseas with that drive and my laptop, it failed - in my experience those drives are awful, unreliable liabilities, especially if bus-powered.

but no - the scanners do not effect laptops/computers/hard drives,
