Letter of engagement recinded, three weeks before shooting.

In June I received a letter of engagement, from this out of town show. Up until last week I have been conferring with them about various post issues. This week things went cold and I asked that they send my deal memo, and instead they sent an e-mail rescinding the job.

Do I have recourse?
