Best not to over think this Dennis.
Yes, a good argument can be made for the name being too broad or adding an S to User or adding an S to Pro or dropping the LA or trying to figure out why in the heck we chose this name instead of some other name, but in the end it is simply a name change. The name, (in my humble opinion) reflects who we are and what we have been doing for several years. Each of us are not and should not be defined by one tool, but defined by what it is we DO with the tools we USE.
We serve the Creative PRO.
We USE stuff to tell our stories.
We are a GROUP who helps each other.
We meet in LA every fourth Wednesday of the month.
We are who we are and have been for several years now. This name, however you choose to dissect it, reflects who we are and have become. The tools we USE don't.
And the F was deleted via a complicated process called kerning. Thank you Ben King for doing the new logo. :-)
